The Who-What-When-Where of My Slice of This Planet Why bother with this web site?

Well, if you're a friend or family member,
then it's to keep up with what's going on
in my life (when I have one).
If you're NOT, then maybe it's because you're
interested in running. Or maybe you're just
cruising through!
Whatever the reason, have fun, and try not
to laugh too much.
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I graduated
from the University of Memphis in 1992.
I came to Charlotte, NC by way of Omaha, NE (don't ask),
and have no immediate plans to leave - hey,
I like it here, what can I say?

I work at one of the 'big banks' in town as
an Application Designer (actually, I test
stuff...go figure), but I'm toying with the
idea of going back to school to learn about
programming.
Yes, I just might be insane.
We'll see!

I live near Lake Norman, just north of
Charlotte, and have a small house with WAY
too much mowable land, but it's home.
My two roommates are my kitties, Oliver and
Samantha, and they never cease to amaze me.

My family is scattered all over, so the
easiest way to keep in touch is through
the web.

My sister, Janet, has a COOL site with
photos of her trip to Colorado last year.
She climbs, and if you're into climbing,
then you'll want to see these pics!

 		My Stats
To Run Or Not To Run I'm a 'newbie' when it comes to running. I've been doing this for about
2 months now, but I'm still at it!

I ran my first 5k last month at the "Aint
Hogs Great" event in China Grove, NC. It
was a blast!
This weekend (3/27) is the "Cooper River Bridge Run"
in Charleston, SC. It's a 10k, and one of the largest,
I might add. Some 30,000 people are expected to
attend this year! I plan to stay at the back of
the pack so I don't get run over.

I plan to do several events this year, and hope
to create an additional page soon with a calendar
of events that I'll be signing up for.
So keep checking so you can track my progress!
